For the ASM

  • The following guidance must be strictly adhered to if you want make a successful submission of your abstract.
  • If the abstract does not conform to the set format it will be sent straight back with a note regarding resubmission, unless there is insufficient time before the closing date, in which case it may be rejected.
  • The abstract is to be submitted on the template form, and should be sent electronically with a covering letter (scanned pdf) signed by all the authors (at least one of whom must be a full NASGBI member). The letter should confirm that ethical approval was obtained, or that the project was registered with the hospital’s audit department where appropriate. Case reports should also have patient consent for submission.
